The distressing has patches underneath to keep you covered and there is a light whisking throughout the dark rinse denim. These are a straight jean with a bit of stretch. To compare with Judy Blue denim: I would suggest going up one size from your Judy Blue size (as Judy Blue sizing is quite generous).
